This is the 16th time Boutari has been named a “Winery of the Year” as a result of consistent performance and highest scores in many wine tastings.

Each year the magazine’s panels and critics blind taste more than 10,000 wines to present the best wines to their readers. Wineries selected to be honoured are those whose wines have scored among the top 100 wines of the year, produced in the world’s most important wine regions.

Wine & Spirits Top 100 Tasting Event honors those wineries from around the world that delivered the best overall performances in W&S tastings throughout the year. The event will take place in San Francisco on 17th October 2012.

We are proud to announce the winning of a Gold medal of our Chianti Classico Riserve 2009 from Casale dello Sparviero at this year’s Intervin Wine Awards held in Niagara-On-the-Lake.

On Thursday Evening (September 13, 2012) The Greek America Foundation held a public screening of the 1987 blockbuster movie Moonstruck at the Danforth Music Hall Theater (Toronto).  One of the stars of the movie Olympia Dukakis was on hand during the showing.  Later there was a reception and dinner at Local restaurant where Boutari wines were featured.  CLICK HERE >>> to see photos from the event on our Facebook page.
